Will Laser Treatment Hair Removal Work For You?

By  Brenda Brice

 Laser Treatment
Laser treatment hair removal is definitely a popularly accepted strategy to reduce excess hair. But the truth is, it is not meant for everybody. As with other things, it depends on the particular individual case. Therefore, make sure you have an understanding of things that will have an effect on your laser hair removal results and then work with that knowledge to make your decision.

Pigmentation Of Hair And Skin

The tones, or colorings, of skin and hair that you have can significantly influence the way you come out of the course of treatment. That's due to the fact the laser is designed to look for and then destroy darker pigments. So, dark skin color and light hair is really a less than ideal mix which could lead to skin damage and burning.

Four Skin Color Groups

Our skin comes in 4 primary categories. Those categories are based on your location, or particularly the location that your close relatives descended. Eastern Asian, Middle Eastern, African and European (White) comprise the 4 categories. Let's consider the way each can have an impact on your own outcome in the laser treatment center.

1. Eastern Asian Skin

In case you have Eastern Asian skin, you're not probably going to have a great deal of extra hair. Having said that, the excess hair which you do want to get rid of should really be relatively easy to get rid of using laser treatments. That is because you probably have dark-colored hair. Your skin tone is most likely somewhat lighter, therefore the laser should be able to target the dark hair.

                 Eastern Skin

2. Middle Eastern Skin

The odds might be stacked against you when you've got a Middle Eastern background. This is thanks to the fact people coming from that region can have varied skin shades. It is possible to in some cases develop a lighter skin tone using lightening agents, like hydroquinone, though. It is great news in your case, given that Middle Eastern people additionally tend to have more excessive body hair.

3. African Skin

            African Skin

Black skin color is a whole other scenario. Should you have African skin color, you already know that it is commonly quite dark. This means the laser could quite easily focus on it, and not on your excessive hair. That might lead to a few undesirable scars and burns if you're not careful. That's why plenty of professionals won't do the procedure on men and women of African ancestry.

4. White Skin

White Skin
Should you have Caucasion skin color, you could be in a very good position to get the treatment. That's mainly because you'll probably have especially light skin tones. So, the laser can easily target your excess hair, which is likely to be darker.

Hair coloration can also influence your failure or success. Darker hair is preferable. White-colored or grey hair does not have pigment at all, so it's not treatable with laser treatments. Additionally, there is an absorption blocker termed phemelianin in blond and red-colored hair, rendering it difficult for the laser to function for these shades, as well. So, make sure you have both the right type of skin along with a good hair type, before going for laser treatment hair removal.
